UFC 329 Prize Money Bonuses Revealed for Paddy Pimblett and Conor McGregor-Max Holloway Fight Card

Paddy Pimblett and King Green were singled out for their efforts at UFC 329 on Saturday.

The pair took home the $100,000 Performance of the Night bonus. Pimblett submitted Benoît Saint Denis inside a minute of their lightweight bout, while Green earned a TKO win over Terrance McKinney right as the first round was drawing to a close.

Brandon Royval and Lone’er Kavanagh also collected a six-figure payday for delivering the Fight of the Night. Royval won with a rear-naked choke in the third round.

Max Holloway, Robert Whittaker, Gable Steveson, Adrian Yañez, Luke Riley, Damian Pinas, Ryan Gandra and Alessandro Costa each received $25,000 for wrapping up their wins before the final bell.

Holloway had the easiest night of the group. He didn’t have to attempt a single strike before Conor McGregor was effectively finished. McGregor suffered an apparent knee injury on a flying kick as soon as the fight got underway:

Steveson made a strong impression in his UFC debut. The decorated freestyle wrestler took the fight to Elisha Ellison from the outset. He rocked Ellison with a right hand in the first round and followed up with a flurry of strikes before Ellison fell to the mat.

For Pimblett, this was arguably the biggest win of his UFC career. Thanks to being on McGregor’s comeback card, he had a huge showcase and made the most of it. He needed just 20 seconds to lock in a choke on Saint Denis, and from there it was just a question of how long the Frenchman would last before the fight ended.

Pimblett, who lost to Justin Gaethje in a fight for the interim lightweight title in January, affirmed his desire to compete for the gold again. He has certainly earned a matchup with a high-profile opponent for his next appearance inside the Octagon.
